The Guns of Jordan

In my next update I can present 6 Jordanian 25 Pounder guns. These are the artillery support for my 1967 Six Day War Jordanian force (Although I do have 6 more and 12 trucks still to paint!). Getting these finoished means that I don't have to keep recycling my North African British desert 25 pounders between boxes (and the crew look a lot less white).

These models are from the Plastic Soldier Company 25 Pounder kit, which I originally got in the initial kickstarter (They have been sat on the shelf far too long!). The bases are laser cut MDF from Warbases.

I'm fairly happy with the models, the kits go together fairly well, although the axle could be a little spindly, so care had to be taken when fitting the wheels. They paint up nicely though!

End of the Line

Hello people, more buffers for you this time.

These are the Peco rail made buffers (Kit SL-40). I've put them together and give them some quick weathering with contrast paints (recesses and wood) I've then picked out the lamps in ivory and red, with a gloss varnish on the red. I've decided to go for rusty brown this time rather than white, as these are likely to be at the end of some sidings in a yard, and therefore are not as cared for.

Truck that!

So today's update is some German Krupp Protze (Sd Kfz 70) trucks I did over the weekend. These were fun to paint and actually got painted fairly quickly (hurray for motivation!). Having had the base camoflage sprayed and airbrushed helped with that I think. They will act as more transport for my Panzergrenadiers in game.

Metal Boxes!

So I've managed to get something else painted, the M113 APCs for my Jordanian infantry platoon. This gives me the full infantry option for AIW.
