We actually have another update! Hopefully there will be a couple more over the Christmas break.
Today's update is a 1:76 scale Cromwell tank from Airfix. I got this as a present last year, so it's only taken me a year to get this painted!
It's painted up as one of the 7th Armoured "Desert Rats" Cromwell, from 1944.
Mostly covers 15mm Flames of War stuff, but also covers other oddments as well.

Assault Guns Reporting!
Yep, that's right, it's another update! Apologies for the slow progress, work and illness have slowed my output quite a bit. Hopefully, I'll have some more stuff for you soon.
Anyway, I've managed to finish some SU-122 assault guns, see them below as they head towards the front!

Things getting Wyrd!
So I've painted some more Necromunda stuff, in this case a Van Saar heavy, and three Wyrds (Necromunda wizards, who use the powers of the warp to throw fire, read minds, etc).

Beasts of the Underhive
I've also managed to get my Beastmaster Wyrd and his pet rats painted. They were good enough to pose, so here are a few photos.

Starfighters off the Port Bow!
So I recently bought another Star Wars Armada box set, forgetting what that meant, more fighters to paint!
As such, I've had to paint some more X-Wings and Tie Fighters. I've finished these today.
So I've painted up an X-wing squadron as Red Squadron for Biggs (I'll swap his card at some point). The rest I have painted up as Blue Squadron from Rogue One, including Blue One (with the red astromech)
And to face them, 6 more squadrons of Tie Fighters. I looked for some alternative schemes for these, but it turns out there arn't any (Tie Fighters are supposed to be generic, faceless assets). As such, they are grey!

Raargh!
One of the models I managed to prime back in April was my Zombicide Abomination (Big boss zombie). I've got round to finishing him the week.
I'll need to paint more Zombicide stuff soon, but I still have a stack of Necromunda, Battle of Britain and Flames of War stuff to finish off first!

Facing the Reds
Well I've got some more Team Yankee painted! Specifically my Harriers, and FV432/8s.
Here we see 3 FV438 covering a road with Swingfire missiles, together with an FV432 Artillery OP. Overhead two RAF Harrier GR.3 fly forwards on a strike mission.

Scramble, Scramble!
Hello, just a quick update.
So the first thing I've finished painting for a month is none of the things you would expect, Instead I've painted up the British planes for the PSC Battle of Britain game. These are the new versions of the planes in a harder plastic, and they paint up well!
I wasn't that impressed with the self-adhesive stickers provided, so I've free-handed on the markings on the side. Not perfect, but they don't look too bad!

Keeping up the progress
I've had a productive day today. Firstly I've finish these guys.
Yep, the Soviet Tank Riders are complete, 17 bases of infantry (I made 2 extra SMG stands to allow me to also use them as Motorstrelkovy and a second command stand).
Today I've also build and based, and primed all my Necromunda figures, and built an FV432 and 3 FV438 for Team Yankee, I've also primed some more Soviet stuff. I'm hoping tonight to finish building 2 Harrier Jump Jets for Team Yankee, and maybe start building Stuarts.
So plenty to do!

Trying to keep on track!
Well work hasn't helped this month, but I have got something done!
Here to can see 10 T-70 tanks I've managed to get painted. They aren't great in game but I really like the models and it gives me a large unit of cheap formation troops for my Soviets to make them more resilient.
Currently on the painting table is a unit of Tank Rider infantry/Motor Strelkovy for the same purpose, which I'm aiming to get done by mid-next month.
Following that I have a choice of :
17 Honey Stuarts (4 Platoons of 3, a HQ platoon of 4 and an OP Stuart)
4 SU-122
1:76 Scale Airfix Cromwell tank
Necromunda figures (I seem to have got carried away on eBay recently)
Not sure which way I'm going yet.

On a roll!
Well I seem to be getting back into the swing of painting, I've finished 7 more Sd Kfz 250 halftracks for my Germans! Next is going to be Soviet tanks, then probably my new desert Stuarts. I can't promise the odd Necromunda figure won't creep in however!

For Mandalore!
So I recently picked up the Chimera expansion for Star Wars Armada. This came with 2 unpainted Mandalorian Gauntlet Fighter/dropships. Naturally this means they required a paint job!
They were quick and easy to paint, following a paint scheme off the internet (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kom%27rk-class_fighter). Prime black, they drybrush Vallejo Cold Grey (old GW Codex Grey) followed by a lighter white drybrush, and repainting the rotating ring Cold Grey again. I picked out the windscreen in Black, and the engines in Vallejo Orange Fire (old GW Fiery Orange).
I then added the blue marking from the picture in old GW Enchanted Blue, then gave things a quick pin wash with Army Painter Dark Tone, marking sure I got all the rotation ring. With that finishing touch, they were done and ready for space combat!

Jagdpanzers gonna Jagd!
Here are some more German vehicles I've got finished.
Firstly this is my company command 250/1 recce halftrack, together with 2 250/2 Mortar halftracks.
The softskin collection increases with these Sd Kfz 7 halftracks and SdKfz 15 field car.
Also a Famo 18(t) recovery halftrack (thanks for taking these out just as I'd built it V4!)
Finally something more shooty, 4 Jagdpanzer IV/70 (A). I'm very pleased with how the mesh schutzen (ablative side panels) have come out on these.

Finally finished!
So the Grants have now got their transfers and are finally finished!
Honey Stuart OP, this has been painted to match my other Honey Stuarts. These are going to be replaced with new plastic PSC Stuarts, so I didn't pin wash it to the same standard as the Grants.
Here we have two platoons of Grants. These are the new Battlefront plastics and these will replace my old Skytrex Grants.

2 months on...
So, it's been a bit dead around here recently. A DIY project, work and a holiday have all competed with modelling time. Also the adverse weather we've had in the UK has hindered my ability to spray varnish models which has made it hard to finish stuff.
Nevertheless, I've got a few bits done as you can see below.
First is the Necromunda Bounty Hunter.
I've completed these gardens for my terrain collection
I've also completed the pylons for Team Yankee.
More models will be on the way shortly!

Really, really need to try harder!
So as you might have guessed I didn't make my Christmas painting schedule! A busy few weeks of work and a variety of little jobs sucked up the time instead, plus poor weather limited my spraying.
I've finally got the halftracks finished, plus the objectives and the billboard (plus a tree base that isn't) shown.
February's aim is to build the pylons and finish the desert tanks (Grants and Stuarts). I'm halfway through the tanks so it shouldn't be too hard (there's my excuse gone)!
If I miraculously complete early, well there's plenty extra to paint!
