So, I didn't complete my challenge. I've got most of it done, but the German halftracks are not finished.

The plan for next month is thus as follows:
Finish the halftracks
Finish the objectives
Paint the Grants and Stuart
Build the Pylons
Paint the Billboard.

If I get time I have the Bounty Hunter, more 250 Halftracks and some more terrain to work on.

November update

Hello again,

I know I'm a bit late with an update this month. I have managed to achieve my objectives for the month however, then forgot to upload pictures!

First we have the Imperial Fighters.

Then we have the German half-tracks.

This month's target is to finish the following:

Soviet small base (HQ, observer, light mortars)

8 Sd Kfz 251 half-tracks

Build and undercoat 6 Grant tanks and a Necromunda Bounty Hunter

So far the Soviets are nearly done, just got to do the rest!

Yet more Star Wars Squadrons

Well I've now got some more friends into Star Wars Armada so I'm celebrating in the logical manner, by buying more stuff for it. I now seem to own every expansion and my armada box is looking a little full! Part of this has been some more Squadrons. As before I've tried to replicate some of the X-Wing schemes, as well as paint up some of the unique squadrons from the Correllion Conflict.

I've also noticed that I've been really bad with the challenges recently, so October's challenge is to finish the remaining Imperial fighters and paint my Sd Kfz 250 half-track recce company.

Here Come the Cavalry!

So the funny story behind these is that a friend bought them, decide not to do an early war cavalry army, and gifted them to me. I got them built and undercoated, and put them on the shelf expecting them to be there for a while.

Suddenly the Strelkovy are finished and need varnishing and basing which is hard to do when I'm away with work (which has been a lot recently). Need a new project quickly, to do while I'm away, I spot these on the shelf, the results are below!

The Human Wave Finally Arrives

So it's been a long time since an update on this blog. A busy summer, together with a large painting project has limited the updates I could put up. However I have finally finished my Strelkovy company together with a HMG company.

Queens Dragoon Guards

Finally got an update done. After the tournament my productivity slacked off a bit, hence the delay in getting these done. Here are the remaining bits to make my Queen's Dragoon Guard's formation for Team Yankee, 4 more Scorpions/Scimitars, 2 Spartan (for the Formation Commander and 2IC) and a Striker unit for lots of lovely Swingfire missiles! It also brings me up to 100pts for Team Yankee.

This week I've got some more star wars armada squadrons painted. Mostly from the rebel fighters 2 pack, including ghost from star wars rebels.

I also got these 2 imperial shuttles painted as well.

Expanding​ to 85pts

Well I've got a couple more models painted, in this case all the models I needed to expand my Team Yankee British to 85 points. As such, below you can see my two Heliarm Lynx and four Scorpions/Scimitars CVR(T) light tanks (thanks to clever use of magnets).

A Show of Force

Just a quick update really, I've got some more star wars armada squadrons painted while painting up my team Yankee stuff (more in a day or two). These squadrons are the decimators, Tie defenders and Tie phantoms from the imperial fighters 2 expansion. Nice quick job as they are mostly grey!

I've finished my Tracked Rapier platoon for my team Yankee British. It also means I have 75 points painted now. Just 2 platoons to go and I have my 85 point force for the start of the next month.

I've finished some more Team Yankee. Here are the two Spartan Armoured Personal Carriers to transport the Blowpipe teams you saw earlier. Next up are the Abbot self propelled guns. I also need to finish my tracked rapier, Lynx heliarm, and Scorpion platoons for the end of this month for an event.

I'm aware that it's been a while since I think posted. I've been busy with stuff at home and also getting the tanks below painted.

I've been painting the Chieftains for my Team Yankee British force. I've attached some pictures below, including a comparison with a Battlefront Centurion tank.

Hello again! Due to a skiing holiday I've slightly missed the March challenge deadline, however I have at least met my targets.

This month I've finished the Panzergrenadiers and Panzer Pioniers. I've also painted up all my Necromunda figures.

In addition I've also built all my 100pt British Team Yankee force, as you can see below.

Finally, I'm also trying out painting a Soviet Strekovy Company for Operation Bagaration. This is intended to test some speed painting techniques. I'll let you know how this goes.

Gangs and Animals

So I've got some more stuff done.

First are these farmyard animals (and shepherds) picked up at Britcon last year. Sadly I can't remember the manufacturer.

Next up are my remaining Van Saars for Necromunda, 2 Gangers and 3 Juves.

Finally, 4 Escher Gangers and a Juve for Necromunda.

My god, is this an update?

The Panzergrenadiers, Panzerpioniers and even the Necromunda Hired Guns have been finished. I've even built the final Chieftain tank for my Team Yankee force (Just all the support to go)!
