My, I am treating you with the updates this month aren't I?
So I've been off this week, and have been using it to get a whole bunch of productive tasks done. Largely things around the home that I've been putting off for too long, however I've also been doing some wargaming painting as well.
As such, I've finished 5 more Battlefront Panzer III tanks (uparmoured ausf L variants) and built/painted 5 minefields out of old CDs.
Next is likely to be some later war German stuff, based on what's built.
Got some minor work on railway stuff done, so I thought I would post an update.
This barrels and milk churns are from Tinker Models, a small producer I found on eBay.
Really impressed with the quality of these and they threw in the barrels as a free sample on a £6 free postage order, so have to say I'm a happy customer.
Paint scheme is nothing special, but they were quick to paint up and look good.
Well we have got some more models done, 3 15cm Nbw 41 and a 5cm Pak 38 for my Tunesian Germans. 4 more of the list for this year.
To be fair, it's been quite a busy month for me with a holiday, a week away with work and bout of COVID. As such, while I have made some progress over July, it hasn't been nearly as much as I had hoped.
I have got these two objectives painted for the Tunisian German force however.
Hopefully I will have some extra additions for this force soon.
So those BA-64s that I had nearly finished....well I might have added three more. Finally got them done, after realising I had run out of transfers of the right size and having to improvise. All of this and a trip away with work, has delayed things a bit.

Otherwise, this has been a big build month for me, building several plastic kits for Panthers and Panzer III tanks. Hopefully I can get more of these painted this month, although it's looking busy again!
Another update, and I've been quite busy.
Tomorrow I am taking part in Conflict at Battlefield Hobbies. Naturally I was a pillock and choose a force that was only half built (and painted), to spur me on to get the other half done. So, after a suitable amount of stress, I have managed to do this just before the tournament.
Below you can see what needed to be built and painted, a platoon of Panzergrenadiers (cobbled together out of bases and figures from my bits box), 3 Nebelwerfers 41, 4 Armoured Cars (only really need 3, but I had the 4th and it needs doing) and another Panzer III (with short 5cm) (all Battlefront).

I still have 3 Nebelwerfers to paint for this force (plus some unbuilt tanks), however next up is likely going to be 3 extra BA-64 Armoured Cars for the Soviets as they are nearly painted now.
After that, who knows!
So here's an update. I have finished a few models.
The first are the 12 outstanding figures from the Dapol Station Passengers set. Here they are prior to being added to the layout.
Next I have a Ral Partha Thuggee Cultist I picked up. He has been an experiment painting Black, and has mainly been dry brushed grey shades, over painted with Grim Black speed paint.
Finally, I have completed 4 jeeps and an L4 'Grasshopper' Air Observation Post for my US Paras. These models being complete allow me to bring this force back to 100 percent done. At least till I buy more anyway.
Finally, as one more experimentation, I've tried my new phone for tonight's pictures. I think it's done pretty well!
